Product Description
Britannia has long symbolised resolve; on this bar, Jody Clark's contemporary design carries that forward-helmeted, trident poised, shield bearing the Union flag. The 2021 security upgrades first seen on Britannia coins now extend to bars:
- Latent image that switches between a padlock and a trident
- Surface animation creating a wave effect behind Britannia
- Micro-text (DECUS ET TUTAMEN) around the shield
Packaging is equally considered: UV watermark, tamper-evident seal, QR code authentication, and unique serialisation all work together so checks are quick and resale is straightforward. The 10g (≈0.321 troy oz) format sits in a sweet spot - lower per-gram cost than tiny wafers, still flexible if you prefer to buy or sell in increments. Not the absolute cheapest per gram versus bigger bars, perhaps, but that's the trade-off for liquidity.
Royal Mint bars are also available in 1g, 5g, 20g, 1oz, 50g and 100g sizes.
Delivery Information
All orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery, with appropriate tracking and insurance, depending on the order value. We endeavour to ship all in-stock products same day on all orders placed before 1pm. We ship to UK customers only.
In-person collection is also available from our Royal Wootton Bassett office. Customers who choose to collect must arrive with official photo ID (driving license or passport) and proof of address (recent utility bill, bank statement or council tax bill). If you elect for click & collect, we'll notify you when your order is ready for collection.
