Compare our prices against your cash4goldonline.co.uk quote. Use our free price match tool to see what your gold is really worth. If they can't match our price, ask for your gold to be returned.
If you're selling your unwanted scrap gold, you may have ordered a free postal pack from Cash4Gold Online (cash4goldonline.co.uk). They advertise the "highest prices" and say they "will not be beaten on price". Before you accept their offer, take two minutes to check what your gold is genuinely worth.
Cash4Gold Online is, in its own words, part of the Cash4Gold-Now group. When Gold Traders tested Cash4Gold-Now, their first offer was £401 for gold with a spot value of £597.68. That's 67.1% of the true value, leaving the seller nearly £197 short. You can see the full results in our gold buyer price comparison, and read our separate Cash4Gold-Now price match page.
Cash4Gold Online price match guarantee
Cash4Gold Online promises to match any price offered by another online scrap gold buyer. To use it, you need written evidence of the other offer, including the date, the weight of the items, and the grade of metal.
That's exactly what our free tool on this page gives you. Enter the weight and purity of your gold, and we'll send you a written, dated valuation based on the rates we're genuinely paying right now.
There are a couple of things to be aware of before you rely on their guarantee:
- Their terms say the matched price will be adjusted for any change in the gold price between the date of your written offer and the day they respond.
- The guarantee applies to scrap gold. To be fair on the comparison, our valuation is based on our lowest scrap gold rates, with no extra added for coins with collector value or jewellery with resale value. Our rates are higher again for bullion.
So get your written quote from us on the day you speak to them, and ask them to confirm any matched price in writing. If they won't match it, ask for your items back and sell to us instead.
Cash4Gold Online calculator
Cash4Gold Online displays the daily gold spot price on its website, but that is not the rate they pay you. Their own site says the percentage they pay is "based on volume", and there is no calculator that tells you your actual payout before you post your gold in.
Our free calculator works the other way round. Enter the weight and carat of your gold below, and you'll get a clear valuation based on today's live market price, before you send anything anywhere.
Use it as your benchmark. If Cash4Gold Online offers less, you'll know straight away, and you'll have a written quote ready for their price match.
