Product Description
At the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, ten heraldic beasts stood guard at the entrance to Westminster Abbey. Sculpted by James Woodford RA, they inspired The Royal Mint's Queen's Beasts bullion range, which began in 2016.
About the White Horse of Hanover
The white horse became part of the royal story when the British throne passed to George of Hanover in 1714.
On the coin, the horse holds a shield showing the three lions of England, the lion of Scotland, the fleur-de-lis of France, the Irish harp and the Arms of Hanover.
The design
Jody Clark designed both sides of the coin. The background has a chain mail texture, which acts as a security feature.
The obverse shows Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, with the £5 face value. The White Horse of Hanover arrived in 2020, alongside the White Lion of Mortimer.

What to expect from a pre-owned coin
As a pre-owned coin, it may carry light marks from handling. These are normal for bullion that has changed hands, and they don't affect the silver inside.

Your coin arrives in its original capsule. Being pre-owned, the capsule will likely show signs of wear.
For collectors working through the Queen's Beasts range, this coin adds the White Horse of Hanover to the set.
