What If I'm Not Sure About the Purity or Weight?
That's absolutely fine. Many customers send in items without knowing the exact carat or weight. We'll test everything using professional XRF (X-ray fluorescence) equipment, separate it by purity, and give you a detailed breakdown.

Yes - light chains and hollow chains containing gold still have value! Even if the weight is lower, they're still valuable and often overlooked. We weigh down to 1/10th of a gram and for 9ct chains, every 0.1g increase in weight works out to an additional £3.10 on your valuation!
No problem. If you choose not to proceed, we'll return your items promptly by insured post. If you decline our valuation, we will cover the cost of return items. If you request the return of stones or non-precious metal items, there's a nominal fee to cover the packaging and shipping.
Not at all. We handle all the testing and weighing in-house. Send it as it is. Even if you have a tangled mass of multiple chains, we can deal with them.
Subject to you giving us timely authorisation of payment, we will pay you on the day of receipt (Monday to Friday).
Yes, but please note that we buy based on gold content. If you'd like to keep any stones or non-gold components, let us know in advance, and we'll remove them for you.
