Product Description
Each coin contains one troy ounce of pure silver, struck to bullion standard by the Austrian Mint. The design is distinctive and unchanged year to year, which is why mixed date coins remain popular with investors.
The obverse features the famous pipe organ from the Musikverein concert hall in Vienna, home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Around the design you will find the inscription "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH", along with the weight, fineness, year of issue, and the €1.50 face value.
The reverse displays a selection of orchestral instruments, including violins, a cello, a harp and a French horn, with the legend "WIENER PHILHARMONIKER". The artwork was created by Austrian Mint engraver Thomas Pesendorfer and is shared across both the gold and silver Philharmonic ranges.
