If you're unsure as to what you have, we can sort, test and supply you with a valuation. We do not charge any valuation or testing fees and if you decide not to sell, we return your items at our cost, not yours.

Normally issued the same day we receive your items (Monday to Friday).

Usually issued on the day we receive your gold (Monday to Friday). For most customers with a high street bank account, your money should show on your account on the day of payment. However, for a guaranteed same day service, please select the CHAPS option. To find out if your bank or building society uses the Faster Payments system, enter your sort code on the APACS Sort Code Checker.

For security, we send cash payments via Royal Mail Special Delivery. To cover postage and handling fees, we charge £4.50, plus £0.60 for each £100. Cash payments are limited to a maximum of £2,500.

Please note that PayPal will deduct transaction charges from the payment we make to you. We are not responsible for these charges.

Guaranteed to be in your account on the day we receive your gold (Monday to Friday). A £25 admin fee will payable to cover our bank transaction charges (waived on transactions over £2,500).

We pay an extra 5% on top of the scrap value when payment is to charity. If you are donating your payment, please state the charity below. Read our FAQ for more info.

Choosing the right scrap gold dealer

There are plenty of scrap gold dealers on the Internet and high street jewellers who will buy your gold. The question you should ask when using ANY dealer is 'Will I receive the best deal available?'.

Check the small print of our competitors. Make sure that the price you see quoted is the minimum you'll receive.

Many dealers will only pay out using the gold price they set at the time they generate your payment. Therefore, if the gold price drops after you've sent your scrap, you'll end-up receiving the lower price. Furthermore, if the gold price were to rise, you may well discover you only get the dealers original quoted rate and not a higher price.

Win win for the dealer, lose lose for the customer.

We believe our payment terms are probably the fairest available.

  • We update our prices regularly.
  • If the gold price is higher when we process your payment, we'll pay you the better price.
  • If the gold price goes down before we receive your gold, we'll pay you our original quoted price (providing we receive your gold within 3 days).
  • We don't charge 'administration' fees to return your items if you change your mind.
  • We issue payment on the day we receive your gold (Monday to Friday).
